Matt Busby Books |
The Godfather
of Manchester United. Sir Matt Busby will always be remember
at Old Trafford. He created the Busby Babes and tragically
saw the core of his team killed in the Munich Air Crash. Busby
survived the crash and then went on to re-build a great side.
In 1968, Sir Matt lead United to European Glory. He died in
1994 aged 85 but he is always remembered at United. A statue
was built and his figure proudly stands outside Old Trafford's
Theatre of Dreams. Warwick Road was also renamed The Sir Matt
Busby Way. |
