BLOODY
FOREIGNERS -
Sat 17th June 2006 - The Lowry |
It’s
Helli’s first night in England. As a new au pair in
the Garbold household, she immediately encounters confusion
and misunderstandings when Mrs Garbold’s Italian brother
Nico makes a surprise visit. The battle to understand one
another becomes an international comedy of errors when the
lovelorn Albert comes seeking the hand of the previous au
pair Francine. Adapted from the comedy ‘Albert’
by Richard Harris, author of ‘Stepping Out’ and
‘Outside Edge’, BLOODY FOREIGNERS is one-act play
full of joie de vivre, va va voom and a generous helping of
mozzarella! Enliven is Manchester’s newest theatre company
dedicated to presenting new and off beat comic theatre in
the North West. |
