formed in 1998
described as progressive death indie
they are Mike Vennart, Steve Durose, Gambler, Mark Heron, & Steven Hodson
have released three full length albums
influences range from The Beach Boys, Black Sabbath, Cardiacs, Jane's Addiction, The Verve, Swervedriver, Tool and Tortoise
they prodcue songs ranging from acoustic ballads to distorted heavy metal
worked on some demos with hip-hop legend Snoop Dogg
their song Meredith was featured on the popular television drama The O.C.
Music For A Nurse became the soundtrack to an Orange advertising campaign
the band's side project Kong has finished recording their debut album, Snake Magnet
Kong are Steven Hodson and Mark Heron of Oceansize, and Jon-Lee Martin

the five-piece rock formed in 1998. The current line up consists of Gambler - guitar/keyboards, Steve Durose - guitar/backing vocals, Mark Heron - drums/drums/cymbals, Steven Hodson - bass/keyboards, Mike Vennart - guitar/lead vocals.
1999
Oceansize - The Lines Saturday Morning Breakfast Show
Released single in September 2003. Features the track Amputee. On Blue Vinyl from Errol Records.

Released debut album in September 2003. Features the tracks I Am The Morning, Catalyst, One Day All This Could Be Yours, Massive Bereavement, Rinsed, You Wish, Remember Where You Are, Amputee, Unravel, Women Who Love Men Who Love Drugs, Saturday Morning Breakfast Show and Long Forgotten. Recorded at Jacob's Studio, Farnham, Surrey between February and March 2003 on the Beggars Banquet Records label. Produced by Chris Sheldon and Oceansize.

2005
On December 4th 2005, the band issued a press release, stating that bassist Jon Ellis was leaving the band, but would still contribute musically.
On 28th January 2006, the band's frontman Mike Vennart issued a short post on an Oceansize messageboard detailing Ellis' "replacement", known only as Steve, who had been affiliated with the band for quite some time, most notably with the Oceansize side-project Kong.
Oceansize - Everyone Into Position Everyone Into Position listen to soundbites
Released second album in September 2005. Features tracks The Charm Offensive, contains the hidden track Emp(irical) Error, in the pregap of the track Heaven Alive, A Homage To A Shame, Meredith, Music For A Nurse, New Pin, No Tomorrow, Mine Host, You Can't Keep A Bad Man Down and Ornament/The Last Wrongs. Recorded The Works Recording Studio, Manchester, except for the drums, which were recorded at Monnow Valley Studio, Monmouth, Wales on the Beggars Banquet Records label. Produced by Dan Austin & Oceansize.

2006
the band write two tracks and these were released as mp3s on the band's Myspace page around Xmas 2006 as a band-described gift to the fans. The two songs were Red Rag to a Bear and Siberian Bullshit.
2007
Steve Fretwell - Frames Frames
Released third album in October 2007. Features the tracks Commemorative 9/11 T-Shirt, Unfamiliar, Trail of Fire, Savant, Only Twin, An Old Friend of the Christies, Sleeping Dogs, Dead Lions and The Frame. A special edition of the album will featuring an 11-minute bonus track entitled Voorhees. Recorded at Monnow Valley Studio, Monmouth, Wales on the Superball Records label. Produced by Chris Sheldon.
