~ Dough PIzza Kitchen ~
As well as catering for the Northern Quarter's stylish urbanites, the specialist pizzeria are passionate about providing a quality family friendly eatery, and even offer a baby station so parents need not worry about the hassle of boiling water at the table as they can prepare food and bottles themselves.
The healthy 'Dinky Dough' menu allows kids to create their own pizza by colouring it onto the pizza box base for the chef to follow their instructions and they receive a colouring pizza pack too.
50p from every child’s pizza ordered goes to the Childhood Eye Cancer Trust.

Located at The Printworks, the American-style diner will rock your kid's birthday parties with generous free top-up soft drinks and the biggest food portions in town.
Together with fantastic food and ice cream, the L'il Rocker Birthday package includes collectable cups, Hard Rock party bags and free birthday cake, all for just £10.95.
With regular special family days, including breakfast with Santa, the little ghouls and ghosts Halloween party, Easter bunny and Mother's Day events, Hard Rock are an obvious nomination for Manchester's most family friendly restaurant.

Everytime Restaurants Of Manchester visited Paul Heathcotes' Italian pizzeria & grill it was full of parents with children, so we were not surprised to see the 2008-09 Pride Of Manchester Award winner shortlisted once again for Most Family Friendly Restaurant in Manchester.
Children are encouraged to make their own pizza with the ‘Little Olives’ menu offering a range of healthy, appealing dishes to suit every little taste bud with the price being reduced to £4.99 for 3 courses for all kids.
There's colouring cards and puzzles and whatsmore, 25p is donated to ChildLine for every child’s meal sold and there's even Children's Cookery Classes on the first Sunday of every month.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
~ Sapporo Teppanyaki ~
The plush Castlefield Japanese teppanyaki and sushi restaurant is ideal for families, especially birthday parties, with the exciting theatre-style kitchens accommodating upto 20 diners around each chef.
Children of all ages, including big kids over the age of 30, are encouraged to take part in the cooking of their own meal and are invited to join the chef in juggling eggs or catching flying food in their mouths. The huge flames from the grill are also a delight for kids.

The impressive new £1million Indian restaurant just off Oxford Road leaves the stereotypical curry house years behind, with its plush interior, varied menu including gluten free options, open kitchen, cooking classes, special events and a weekly family day.
Children are made to feel especially welcome with a small area set aside full of toys, books and crayons. Parents can also specify to the chefs exactly how they'd like their kid's meals cooked.
