	The South Africa Branch history and other information The club was formed in 1990 with Gary Bailey as Chairman - a position he still holds. There was a brief period from 2000 when the club sold by the money men at Old Trafford to a group whose interest was soley commercial, but they lost interest when they found it not as profitable as they'd hoped. It's back in the hands of people who care deeply and passionately about Manchester United - and the club's army of SAReds.
