Yo!
Sushi Japanese Restaurant Manchester - reader comments
"Compared
to the likes of Sapporo in Castlefield and New Samsi
on Whitworth Street, Yo Sushi is nothing more
than a 'McDonalds' in the sushi world. For
quick healthy, tasty and reasonably priced food however,
there's not many better places to eat whilst
out shopping. Being in the basement of Selfridges
does it no favours as you feel like your eating
in the staff canteen - it's also confusing
as to what you're supposed to do unless a waitress explains.
Unlike many sushi restaurants with the conveyor belt
system however, the impressive menu clearly states the
price of each dish travelling past (from just £1.50
upto £5). It also allows you to order other dishes
that you don't see before you."

"Great
Sushi restaurant in the basement of Selfridges.
Has a brilliant selection of Sushi
and other dishes which can be cooked to order or plucked
off the conveyor belt. Prices are really good,
so if you just fancy a quick snack or if you've never
sampled Sushi it's not going to break the bank.
The only complaint that we had was that we ordered the
sparking water, which comes from a tap at your seat,
all you can drink, however it had lost some of it's
fizz and wasn't cold as you would expect. When we advised
the waitress that it was tepid and asked for some ice
we were told that they don't have any, strange for a
sushi restaruant really but never mind!
I think this is really worth a visit,
great experience and even if you don't like the thought
of uncooked fish there are plenty of cooked dishes to
try out"
