"Two
of our party ordered "fresh" crab claws with chilli
garlic and coriander, one ordered chicken chat and
I ordered paneer all as starters. After 10 mins our
order came, the 3 crab claws were deep fried in breadcrumbs,
my paneer was ok and the chicken
chat sauce was just ketchup with chillis thrown in.
We asked the waiter if these were fresh claws upon
he replied they are processed crab, just like crab
sticks. We asked where the coriander was and another
waiter replied "we dont put coriander on the dish
anymore, so many people are allergic to it!" What!?!
Is he for real?
"The
head waiter said he was sorry and offered
another starter. They ordered king prawns
in some sauce but when it arrived they couldn't
eat it for the amount of salt in the dish.
We then asked to speak to the manager who told us
we had come on a bad night and the main chef
was off, (thats a very original story isn't
it?). We'd had enough by this time so we told them
not to prepare our main course and just to give us
the bill. With the starters and 4 drinks (2 were non-alcholic),
we were charged £17.15. We left the restaurant
and went to a little place about 50yds further on
called Punjab, where we all had a beautiful meal and
a lot cheaper than this one. All I can say is keep
well away from this place, from our experience
there are too many people in the restaurant
for the chef to cook a meal of any decent quality.
It is so brightly lit up on the outside and
even a blind man couldn't go by without spotting it.
You have been warned!!!"

| "An
excellent place not really a romantic
atmosphere but clean and bright and lively.
The staff are great and listen to special requests
(husband has a dairy allergy) and the service
is quick. The food has been fantastic
each time we have visited, and we recently had friends
visiting from Mumbai and they were impressed as well."
