food when we visited 26/05/2007. Busy but staff
helpful and whilst we had not booked managed
to find a place for us after 15 mins or so. Good
decor, clean and with clean toilets.
Table under the stairs which was initially offered not
so good. A bit claustrophobic!"

enjoyed the food, drink and the atmosphere
of the place. I will now be taking all of my clients
there as I feel it is the best place in town!"

a business venue, this place is still very good - it's
plush and the service is top notch.
The food however was a big let down
- I opted for the half lobster, which I admit was never
going to be a big meal, but the very few pieces of meat
lacked any real flavour and came with
the grand total of 10 chunky chips, piled high like
a game of Jenga. There was loads of sauce, not that
I had any food to pour it over - all for £17.95.
It's not surprising that many of the recognised food
guides have downgraded this establishment over the years
- there's far better places in town to choose
from, and judging by the serious lack of lunch
time customers, many people have taken note."

needs a re-vamp to freshen it up.
The menu doesn't seem to have changed
very much in years and is in need of an imaginative
make-over"
