"Excellent
food and service, very good value for
money, didn't feel ripped off, not too noisy
and quite relaxed, good menu to choose
from as well, staff were very friendly,
attentive and smiling, also manager looked as busy as
staff, which is a good thing"

"We
told the waiter that we were in a hurry, pre-concert,
and he was superb. Even though it was
incredibly busy, he pushed our order through very quickly,
with a smile and a joke along the way. Top notch!
Food excellent - will definitely return. The
only slight criticism is that the waiter didn't
use a notepad for our order and, very honestly,
admitted to us that the delay in the delivery of our
Mediterranean starter platter was down to the fact that
he had nearly forgotten it"

"It's
amazing how many excellent restaurants there are on
this tiny street. And it was because the likes of Chaophraya,
Le Petit Blanc and Sam's Chop House were all full we
ventured into Bacchanalia by default. I was so glad
we did! I have to say, the Lamb Rack, given a Mediterranean
twist with its honey and sultana crust, was the
best dish I've ever had in a Manchester restaurant
- an incredible statement as I've ate in all the celebrated
ones like The French, The Lowry, Choice, Chaophraya,
Piccolino's, Yang Sing and Akbar's. I really wish I'd
visited here for food before - I've been many times
for cocktails but just presumed the menu was of bar
food quality. How wrong was I. Very highly recommended!"
