Hebridean songstress Julie Fowlis won the coveted BBC Folk
Singer of the Year Award in 2008 and has been described
by Mark Radcliffe as "delivering beautiful messages
from another world". Her songs and tunes are shrouded
in the historical folklore of her native Western Isles of
Scotland and her beautiful voice, coupled with an all-star
band, all combine to create a spellbinding selection of
traditional Gaelic material.
