The
timing of this concert couldn't have come on a worse night
for most Mancunians. It's a toss up of watching the reds
in the European Cup Final or getting down with the blues
at the Academy. Blues rock that is, and the Ohio duo indulge
in the Lynrd Skynryd, Creedence Clearwater Revival 70's
sound better than anybody else on the circuit. Alternatively

Following
the riots at the UEFA Cup Final in Manchester on Wednesday
involving Rangers fans, the council have taken the
decision not to show the game in open public places.
