He studied at Thornleigh Salesian College in Bolton

He regularly watches Bury FC

His father, Frank, still lives in Radcliffe

He has worked with many Mancunian actors, including John Thaw and Christopher Eccleston

His movies, Millions, 28 Days Later & Strumpet were all located and filmed in Manchester

Danny Boyle was executive producer on 28 Weeks Later, the follow up to 28 Days Later
